Snohomish County Parks and Recreation The Snohomish County Parks system is incredibly diverse and boasts more than 11,000 acres of parks and open space; over 110 park properties; 100s of miles of trails and access to fresh and saltwater shorelines. Major regional park assets such as the Evergreen State Fairgrounds, Kayak Point Park, Lord Hill Park and the Centennial, Interurban, and Whitehorse Regional Trail systems host local, regional and national events that draw over 4 million visitors each year to Snohomish County Parks.


ALERT
KAYAK POINT BEACH CLOSURE: The campground is open, but the day use area (north beach, all shelters, pier, playground) and vehicle access is scheduled to remain CLOSED through October 2024. Visit the Project Page for the latest information.

Kayak Point Park Day-Use Area: will be open this Summer (July 1 thru October 15th). Online reservations for picnic shelters will be accepted, starting at 9:00 AM on Friday March 1, 2024. Be aware the fishing/crabbing pier will remain closed, and construction noise may be present.For more construction info visit https://snocoparks.info/kp

WINTERIZATION:
Water to campsites and day-use area spigots is shut-off (winterized) at most parks between mid-October and mid-April. Click on Parks & Facilities for details.
